I started this site because after working in the A/E/C and graphic design industry for the past 14 years, I realized that architecture school has failed all of us.

GASP! I know that’s a pretty bold statement.

I started this site because after working in the A/E/C and graphic design industry for the past 14 years, I realized that architecture school has failed all of us.

GASP! I know that’s a pretty bold statement.

But here’s the brutal truth:Architecture school doesn’t properly prepare you to run a profitable firm or even give you the necessary tools to be successful as an employee. Yes we learned how to design, but many of us (including myself) were left wondering:

How do we design careers that we love?

I was always told by my professors or firm principals that if I just put my head down, work hard, work tireless hours day-after-day that eventually, I’d move up the ladder and be successful. That’s how it works right? That’s the way it’s always been.

WRONG…so so wrong!

It wasn’t until I started helping my employers with their marketing strategy and branding that it finally hit me as to what I was doing wrong this entire time and it was life changing!

I realized that no matter what stage we are in our careers, we all have the same issue:
